Shared Space

THE Kitchenette

Today’s kitchenette—historically the traditional tindă (vestibule)—serves as a communal gathering space where you can brew coffee or steep tea at your leisure. AlmaCalma flawlessly reflects the classic layout of Saxon homes, featuring a central vestibule flanked by two main rooms (the guest quarters and the primary living area). This vestibule, a cozy space accessed directly from the veranda, originally served as the winter kitchen on brisk days.

SURROUNDING THE HOUSE

THE GARDEN

Expansive spaces for tranquility and joy

The garden reveals a gently “tamed” landscape, blooming with roses, hydrangeas, dahlias, spring blossoms, and aromatic herbs.
The upper grounds—unveiled as you ascend the hillside path behind the barn, guided by quaint birdhouses—welcome you with untamed wildflowers, flourishing fruit trees, and dreamlike panoramas over the village.
